Course Description: 

PREREQUISITE: Art 1A/1B, Art 2A/2B, & teacher approval. 

AP Studio Art challenges students to produce a body of college-level work to be submitted to the College Board in May.  This body of work, or AP portfolio, consists of 24 outstanding pieces showing mastery of concept, composition, and technical execution.  Students will gain an understanding of artists, art periods, alternative approaches, past and contemporary cultures, and underlying visual issues.
