Course Description: 

PREREQUISITE: "C" grade or better or has successfully completed a competency exam in Spanish 1. 

Spanish 2 again emphasizes communication in Spanish and is the main activity of classroom learning.  The skills of listening and reading include stories with familiar vocabulary and structures.  In controlled situations, students can speak and answer in sophisticated ways expressing needs, preferences, wants, and opinions.
