Course Description: 

This is a two-semester course designed to introduce the student to Automotive Technology.  This course introduces the student to the automobile and the automotive industry. Content and objectives include safety, the basic systems of the automobile, the automotive industry, and career opportunities. Most instruction is lecture and demonstration with some lab exercises. Total classroom and lab instruction time is 90 hours. The content of this course is structured from National Automotive Technicians Foundation (NATEF).
