PREREQUISITE: "B" Grade in CP or Honors Biology AND "A" or "B" grade in Chemistry OR teacher approval.

Are you ready to take your understanding of the natural world to the next level?  Welcome to the exciting and amazing world of Advanced Placement Biology.  This college course, given in the high school, is an 8 Unit laboratory science course that provides students with a strong foundation in the world of Biology.  Fulfilling the College Board requirement for A.P. Biology, this course prepares students for the Advanced Placement exam in Biology; an exam, which if passed, can be used to earn college credits in Biology.  In this course you will carry out several laboratory investigations and research into how the world works, covering topics like biochemistry to evolution.  Are you ready to evolve your educational experience to the next level?  Then perhaps AP-Biology is for you.
