Course Description: 

PREREQUISITE: Grade of "C" or better in Integrated Math 1 AND concurrent enrollment in Integrated Math 2 or higher AND a grade of "C" or better in any previous science course (or teacher approval from previous science course instructor). 

This class is primarily laboratory, based with strong emphasis on the application of algebra. Basic atomic theory: balancing, rates, oxidation-reduction, acid-base reactions, nomenclature, stoichiometry, is covered using the scientific method.
