Course Description: 

PREREQUISITE: Grade of "C" or better in Biology. 

Each portion is one semester in length. This course is an in-depth study of freshwater and marine communities. Sampling, identifying, and preserving organisms will be stressed. The biological requirements of living things in this system will be studied. Energy flow, food chains, abiotic factors, and man’s effect will also be studied. This course will require frequent field studies for pollution testing and biological sampling.
