Physics is the most basic of all the laboratory sciences. It is about the nature of basic things such as the motion of objects, forces that affect their motion, energy that create the forces, matter, heat, sound, light, and the insides of atoms. Students can gain a greater awareness of nature in general and other sciences in particular if they have some understanding of physics.
