Course Description: 

PREREQUISITE: Grade of "C" or better in Trigonometry/Pre-Calculus. 

This laboratory science course will concentrate on developing an understanding of the important basic laws of physics, which include subjects such as mechanics, energy, waves, light, optics, electricity, magnetism, and the atom. Using these laws, the student will be able to analyze relevant problems of current interest in physics and other fields of science. Students will also prepare for the Advanced Placement exam in Physics.
