Course Description: 

PREREQUISITE: Entrance exam required. Students will be required to enroll in AP American Government for fall semester. Preparation for the AP exam will be emphasized.

This course is divided into two separate quarters. One quarter will focus on Microeconomics:  the study of consumers and producers as they function in the larger economic system.  The other quarter will focus on Macroeconomics:  the study of income and price determination as they relate to the economic system as a whole. This course is taught at the college level with students doing college level work.
