  • Course Description: 

    PREREQUISITE: "B" letter grade or better in IM3. 

    During this course, students acquire and apply mathematical tools in real-world modeling situations in preparation for using these tools in college-level calculus. Students develop a greater comprehension of the nature and behavior of the function itself through multiple representations: Graphical, numerical, verbal, and analytical, coupled with the application of the functions type to a variety of contexts. Students will be expected to discover ideas and work in groups/ independently like any other high level math course. Passing the AP Exam allows College Calculus placement.
