  • Course Description: 

    The intro to yoga class will forge connections between mind and body for each student as we explore the movements and philosophies involved with the ancient, but very popular practice of yoga. The class will challenge each student and provide opportunities for growth physically, mentally, and emotionally. We will teach and practice a variety of ground poses and standing poses, stretches, and modifications so that the yoga practice is accessible for all who wish to participate. The goal is to build our practice each day until we are able to practice flow classes twice a week (more challenging) and Yin/restorative classes twice a week (less challenging, more calming).
