Course Description: 

PREREQUISITE: Have earned at least a "B" in IM 2, an "A" in CP Biology, or at least a "B" in Honors Biology.

In Honors Chemistry, students will study the basic laws of Chemistry using critical thinking, inquiry, and science ethics. This course is especially important for students planning on attending college in a scientific or health-related field of study. The design of this course is intended to help students prepare for the rigors of lab-science courses that may be encountered in college. This course is an excellent preparatory course for AP Chemistry, the College Board Exam, and any other higher-level science course.
