    • ALL students have unique strengths and the ability to advocate for themselves.
    • Active engagement of children, families, and community members is essential to fully develop them as partners in the educational experience.
    • ALL students' differences, including ethnic, cultural, racial, sexual, and developmental, are valued in planning, development and implementing the school counseling program and are NOT a predictor of academic success.
    • Curriculum and instructional techniques must be tailored to meet the needs of ALL students.
    • ALL students have the right to participate in a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate school counseling program facilitated by a professional school counselor and aligned to ASCA Mindsets and Standards for Student Success.
