AVID’s Mission is to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in global society.  The typical AVID student is someone who has the desire and determination to succeed, good citizenship, good attendance, strong work habits, and a 2.5-3.5 GPA.

In addition, AVID has a student-run tutorial session to get help and ask questions on current assignments.
