Ms. Angie Soto-Aldaco
Ms. Angie has been Oak Park's Library Specialist since October 2016. She loves her job and has been working in school libraries since August 2009 but has been in a library setting since 2006. Her first job was being a Library Page for the City of Rancho Cucamonga where she worked hard and learned through experience the duties of a library. After graduating from California State University of San Bernardino in 2008, she decided that she wanted to focus her career on working in libraries. Her first school library job was as a Library technician for the Central School District in Rancho Cucamonga and was assigned to Bear Gulch in 2009. Unfortunately, due to funding, she couldn't stay at the school anymore, and she went searching to work for another school. In a few months she was working at the Santa Ana Unified School District and was the Library Media technician at a small school called Carl Harvey Elementary in 2010, and stayed there until 2016. Ever since then she has made her home at Oak Park and enjoys helping all staff, students and parents in this school.
Ms. Angie is married and has two children with her husband. Her hobbies are reading and running. She has a Bachelor's Degree in History and is studying to get into graduate school to receive a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science. Also, everybody knows that her favorite things are books, music, and Harry Potter.
