Mrs. Michel was born in San Bernardino and is a proud product of the ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ. “I attended Locust Elementary, Alder Middle school and graduated from A.B Miller High School."

She then continued her education and graduated from the University of California, Riverside (UCR) earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Students with an emphasis in Spanish; Teacher Credential and Masters in Education from UCR. Then, completed her Administrative Credential and Masters in Educational Administration from Cal State San Bernardino.

“I have been in education for about eighteen years. Of these years I have taught Kinder through Fifth grades and served as an Instructional Academic Coach. I was hired in 2016 to be part of the ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ School district as Assistant Principal for Cypress Elementary. I am excited for this new opportunity to continue working with our students, staff and Cypress community as their Principal. I look forward to continuing our legacy of keeping our students on the Road to Success.”

I am so excited to be a part of Cypress Elementary. I have a passion for working with our diverse school communities, supporting our students, families, and teachers. 

I grew up in Hacienda Heights and developed a passion for helping individuals with special needs. I am a product of Cal State Northridge and UCLA...Go Bruins!  I was a special education teacher for 9 years in Los Angeles and Whittier. I have been an administrator for 7 years as a program specialist and an assistant principal.

Me apasiona trabajar con nuestras diversas comunidades escolares, apoyando a nuestros estudiantes, familias y maestros. Crecí en Hacienda Heights y desarrollé una pasión por ayudar a las personas con necesidades especiales. Soy un producto de Cal State Northridge y UCLA... ¡Vamos Bruins! Fui maestra de educación especial durante 9 años en Los Ángeles y Whittier. He sido administrador durante 7 años como especialista del programa y subdirector.
