Ms. Diane Macias

Dear Shadow Hills Families,

My name is Diane Macias, and I am the School Counselor at Shadow Hills Elementary. I am so excited and honored to be part of this amazing family! My passion lies in helping students in our community achieve their personal and academic aspirations. No matter where they stand academically, socially, or emotionally, I hold the view that each student is capable of achieving success.

I firmly believe that mental health and a positive outlook are vital for students' overall well-being and achievement. When students maintain a healthy mindset, they tend to learn more effectively, perform at their best, foster creativity, build strong relationships, and navigate challenges with resilience. Through engaging lessons, small group activities, and one-on-one counseling, I aim to equip students with the necessary tools to flourish. Moreover, I believe that building strong relationships with students, parents, and the community is essential. Making a positive impact on students' lives requires teamwork and collaboration!

I look forward to helping each student achieve their fullest potential and empowering our community! If you would like to request that I meet with your child on a specific concern, please do not hesitate to reach out. I can be reached via phone or email. You can also set up an appointment with the school secretary to meet with me.

I look forward to a great school year and getting to know all our awesome students at Shadow Hills!

Sincerely,

Diane Macias
