California Community College offer Career Technical Education Certifications, 2 Year Associate Degrees, and Associates Degrees for Transfer used to transfer to Univerisities.
Vocational/Trade Schools
There are various trade schools for careers such as Cosmetology, Pilot (Flight) School, Culinary programs, Dental and Medical Assisting, HVAC technician, Film School, Art School, Mechanic, or Welding, to name a few.
It is highly suggested that when you seek after these programs, you research whether the institution has an acceptable accreditation, the cost of attendance, whether Federal Financial Aid can be used at that institution, and the percentage of graduates that are employed into their field upon graduating the particular program you are interested in.
Military
Students who are interested in going into the Military have opportunities to sign up to take the ASVAB test on campus throughout the year. Those announcements are made through the daily announcements on the loud speaker, along with Messages on REMIND, through our Counseling office.
