Fontana Public Schools Education Foundation

On Wednesday, June 16, FUSD Student Board Member Fatima Kamara was recognized by the FUSD Board of Education, Superintendent of Schools Randal S. Bassett, and the Fontana Public Schools Education Foundation for her service during the 2020-2021 school year.  Fatima received a $1000 scholarship from the foundation.  This meeting was Fatima’s final meeting serving as the FUSD Student Board Member.  She will continue her studies at Yale University in the fall.  “³ÉÈËÊÓƵ would like to thank Fatima for her service on the board and wish her lots of luck next year at Yale.” said Superintendent Randal S. Bassett.

Fontana Exchange Club Donation

Fontana Exchange Club made a donation in the amount of $29,500 to the Fontana Public Schools Education Foundation to fund academic scholarship awards for the Class of 2021 students from each of our FUSD high schools.  Each student will receive scholarships of  at least $500.  “On behalf of the Fontana Public Schools Education Foundation and ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ we thank the Fontana Exchange Club for this generous donation.” said Michael Garcia, Director of Family and Community Engagement.
