• Recognitions at the November 14th Board Meeting

    During each monthly Board of Education meeting, time is allotted for recognition of students, staff, business partners, and schools that bring honor to the ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ and further its mission to improve the quality of education. There were several recognized at the Board Meeting on November 14, 2018.

    Carlos Guzman, a 6th grader at Poplar Elementary School, was selected to lead the Board of Education in the Pledge of Allegiance.

    "Carlos is a leader at Poplar Elementary School. Carlos is a model student and always follows our expectations of being respectful, responsible, and safe. He is someone who shares his knowledge and creativity with other students. Carlos will always do the right thing and can be trusted. He enjoys learning about history and one day hopes to become a photographer who will travel the world. We are so proud and honored to have Student at Poplar Elementary School!!" said Superintendent Randal S. Bassett.

    Workplace Health Solutions Award

    Wellness Committee

    The American Public Health Association presented an award to the Fontana Wellness Committee for taking significant steps to build a culture of health in the workplace.
